· Bible Study Opportunity:

             The Daily Bible in Chronological Order is a year-long study where participants have daily readings which are arranged in chronological order giving the reading of the Bible, from cover to cover, a fresh look at God's work through history.  This study is on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8 p.m. and is led by Cheryl Wilkinson.

Vacation Bible School will be held from July 27-31.  This year’s theme is Crocodile Dock - Where Fearless Kids Shine God’s Light.  It will be held from July 27-31 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with the program on August 2 at 10:00 a.m. 

It would be very exciting to have you volunteer to help with VBS.  Look for a donation board in the back of the sanctuary in the near future.  If you would like to donate your time and efforts during the week of VBS, please contact Katey Till at 723-4140.

Welcome Pastor Rob Barton, his wife Lesley and their three children Elijah, Gabriel, and Isabella.

We wish Pastor Paul well as his ministry moves to Richvalley UMC and they begin their journey together to explore the potential building of a new church. 

Pastor Rob’s first Sunday at SWUMC will be July 5 in a combined Unity service at 10:00 a.m.  His sermon is titled “Visions and Dreams.”  All are invited.  Please come join us in welcoming Pastor Rob and his family to our community.
Text Box: Becca’s Love Run will take place Sunday, August 30, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Whitley County YMCA. Registration is from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on race day. Pre-registration is available by following the instructions on the registration form. For questions, please contact Staci Beiswanger. The entry fee will be a freewill donation to Duane Loe and family to help with medical and other expenses related to Duane’s cancer treatment.
